Welcome to Happy Pony Daycare!
Registration Process:
We encourage you to schedule a visit to our daycare with your child before their first day. This allows your child to become familiar with the environment and our friendly staff, promoting a smooth transition when they start attending regularly.
Registration Fee:
A non-refundable registration fee of $200 is required to secure a spot for your child at Happy Pony Daycare. This fee can be paid in person by cash or check.
Monthly Tuition:
To streamline the payment process, we require post-dated cheques for six months of tuition fees (full-time or part-time options available). These cheques will be collected during your registration meeting.
Registration Steps:
Schedule a Visit: Contact us to schedule a time to visit Happy Pony Daycare with your child.
Registration Meeting: Once a space becomes available, we'll contact you to schedule a follow-up meeting. During this meeting, we'll address any questions or concerns you may have, and your child will have the opportunity to meet their caregivers.
Registration Forms and Payment: At the meeting, you'll be asked to complete a registration form and submit all required documents. You'll also need to pay the registration fee and provide the post-dated cheques for tuition.
Tuition Payment:
Please note that all monthly tuition fees are due on the first day of each month. Unpaid fees may result in the suspension or termination of your child's care unless a mutually agreeable payment arrangement is established.

Happy Pony Daycare is proud to participate in the BC Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative. This means you are eligible for a reduction in your monthly child care fees!
Registration Fee:

Tuition Fees:
The following tuition fees are effective from May 1st, 2023, until April 31st, 2024. Please note that these fees may be reduced depending on your eligibility for the BC Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative.

Happy Pony Daycare Fees Payment and Termination policies
A non-refundable registration fee of $200 is required to secure a spot for your child at Happy Pony Daycare. This fee covers administrative costs associated with enrollment.
Tuition Fees:
Billing: Our tuition fees are based on a calendar month, beginning on the first day of each month.
Payment: Full payment is due in advance by the first of each month.
Changes: We reserve the right to adjust fees with prior notice. We will provide parents with at least six weeks' written notice of any fee changes.
Subsidies:
If your child receives childcare subsidies, please ensure all authorization documents are submitted before enrollment. You are responsible for paying the full tuition amount if your subsidy expires. Your portion of the fees is still due in full by the first of each month.
Attendance Policy:
Full Payment Required: To maintain your child's spot, full monthly fees apply regardless of attendance. This includes absences due to vacation, statutory holidays, sickness, or other reasons. No refunds will be given for these absences.
Subletting Prohibited: Subletting your child's spot to another family is not permitted.
Late Payments:
Failure to pay fees by the first of the month or make alternative arrangements with the Office Administrator may result in the termination of your child's daycare services.
Notice of Termination:
Parents: A written notice of one calendar month is required to withdraw your child from daycare. This notice must be submitted by the last day of the month, one month prior to the desired leave date (e.g., notice by March 31st for a May 1st withdrawal).
HPH Daycare: We will provide you with six weeks' written notice if we are no longer able to provide childcare services for your child.
